Another Low M question.
Thanks for all of the helpful answers to my last low M all in question. Here's another that just happened so it's fresh in my mind: I'm in the money with 15 players left in the 180. I've got $5000 in chips with blinds $300-600 so my M is around 5. I'm on the big blind with A-J suited when a mid position big stack player who has been neither aggresssive or passive, opens-raises to $2500. I reraise all in and he shows A-Q to bust me.
It seems like another OK all in here because his range is K-Q to AA but I'm pretty short stacked and he could easliy be raising with A-6. My only doubt about my all in reraise is the gap rule which I guess that I broke but I did so only because of my low M. Otherwise I might even have folded preflp. |

Fold dawg.
And if you don't fold, at least do a stop-n-go. |

Re: Another Low M question.
well with big stack its prob a call. here its close i would say 15% you are ahead 50% you are flipping and 35% you are 2:1 dog. You may be able to wait for a better spot but i can't fault your play again i think its borderline

Re: Another Low M question.
Mark; I didn't feel like I had enough for a stop and go. I only have $2500 in chips if I just call. But I can see your fold reasoning. It' just that with my M that low and the chances that he opened with a hand much worse than my A-J fairly good, I thought I'd take a chance. But I too suspect I made a questionable call which is why I posted so thanks for the confirmation.
