Default Wearing poker gear in public

I saw this guy riding in a busted up honda with a Stars hat on, and I instantly thought "poser!"

Do you all think there should be an unwritten rule, or benchmark about sporting poker gear in public away from the cardrooms?

I think the 5K bankroll/profit mark sounds pretty reasonable.

lol if your a real pro then you don't need to wear any poker gear unless your at a tourney on tv and there paying you. It's the same thing as with stickers on cars, most of the guys with stickers don't have the parts or know how to use the products to there full potential aka nos with stock exhaust.

I am no where close to the 5k benchmark but i'm wearing a university of holdem tshirt because it was free from a buddy, and it reminds me what I need to work on.

If your a real player, I don't think you need to wear poker gear, you should be wearing nice threads.

I refuse to wear mine IN a cardroom--everywhere else is okay, and no I don't drive a Honda.

I always wanted to show up to the local casino wearing a stars shirt, Raymer glasses and talk like teddy from rounders.

I think the rule should be that it shouldn't be done EVER...unless you are sponsored by the site.

Just think most of that stuff looks pretty ridiculous when one doesn't have to be wearing it.

Although if I get one of the WSEX shirts that everyone else seems to be getting I may make an exception.

I make it a point to never wear poker gear or even any apparel that identifies me as a Las Vegas Local to any poker room.
