Will he fold ace-rag or worse if you raise the turn to $450ish? Will he push over top of that with his big hands or will he "slowplay" aka give you a chance to hit on the river?

3bet flop [/ QUOTE ] to 300? I don't think we can shove given stack sizes. why is this good, what other hands would you do this with? |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think it matters if he shoves over us as we have odds to call. I think check/shoving is maybe better but player dependant, also I think this will work a lot. |

Against a particular type of donk this is the optimum line. It sucks but what can you do.
On the other hand, if he can lay down an ace and/or makes min-raise bluffs a fair amount you could go at it differently. |

Just because we have odds to call doesn't mean that it's a good thing to have happen. And going all-in is a double-pot raise which is pretty sick and unnessary.

Against guys who are described here as loose and random, i'd rather just play this passively as you did, and three-bet the flop with AK and push turn. i.e., loose bad doesn't fold AJ here for anything imo, so i'd get made hands in quick and just try to his my draws, just because you didn't hit your bazillion outer doesn't mean anything this time, just remember that you would have stacked him if you would have hit, and don't worry about playing Q-high fast in this situation
