Bubble play with scary flop
Home game SNG, 9 players start, payout is 50%, 30%, 20%, speed is roughly like UB's Turbo SNGs. Blinds are 300/600
Hero is BB with T6000 UTG has T3000 Villain has T8000 SB has T10000 Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds Villain raises to 1800 SB folds Hero calls Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] pot is 3900 Hero bets T4200 (all-in) Villain is a reasonable player, if anything his shorthanded play is too tight. Is the push on the flop manic? At the time I figured the flop was as good as I could hope for with my hand and decided not to worry about a made flush. My feeling in the past has been that my play has been too week/tight. Is this play overcompensation? |

Re: Bubble play with scary flop
I would've folded to biggie's pf raise. I don't like the idea of calling off 30% of your stack and then having to be OOP against the bigstack with a hand that may be dominated.

Re: Bubble play with scary flop
I would fold pre-flop, based on your read (tight player) and that you are OOP against the big stack. I'm sure you can find a better spot.
