KK with 50 BB - fold to flop raise?
This is from PS Sunday Millions thingy. I don't have much tournament experience, and I figured I was about 50/50 AQ vs. a set. Blinds are 100/200, and this dude just joined the table.

Re: KK with 50 BB - fold to flop raise?
No way it could too easily be AQ. QQ is unlikely as he probably would reraise preflop. So it's really either AQ or JJ and there are more ways to make AQ than JJ. Even KQ is possible or a stubborn AK push with overs/gutshot or a correct A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] push.

Re: KK with 50 BB - fold to flop raise?
So you're calling 5960 to win 12960 (if I'm doing my math right here), which means you need to win a little more than half the time to make this call profitable. I don't see AQ calling a reraise of his UTG raise very often (unless he's terrible), so I think at best you are ahead here 25 percent of the time, when in reality I think you are ahead here about 10 percent of the time.
Played well till you called the all-in. Easy fold. |
