10/20 commerce deep, QQ OOP
This was my second orbit at the table, but I already had a pretty LAGish image. I played and won more than share my fair of hands, most without showdown, and I also doubled up with a flopped set of jacks against two pair. There were two villains in this hand.
Villain 1 was Phil Laak. I saw all of High Stakes Poker, and he seemed to be playing the same style he did in the show. Two of the pots I won he had raised preflop and bet the flop and I had taken it away on the turn (in position), so he might have been looking to make a play against me. Villain 2, Mr. X because I don't know his name, seemed pretty bad in the loose-passive way. He was also the one who had just doubled me up. Hero (5.5k) Laak (50k) X (4.5k) Preflop: Hero is SB with QQ. UTG raises to 60, Laak calls UTG+1, X calls UTG+2, MP calls, CO calls, Hero raises to 500, Laak and X call. Flop:(1700) K63r (3 players) Hero? |

Re: 10/20 commerce deep, QQ OOP
im not very worried about fish's call as it prob is smaller PP (occasionally monster AA/KK/AK) unless he has been coldcalling a lot which is likely of a loosepassivefishy type player (barontheman).
im s bit more concerned about laak and the combination of the two as well as acting first for the rest of the hand makes me want to check and evaluate here. if you did check, can you tell us what happened afterward |

Just stick it in. If you lose, no biggie, I'm sure a rich architect like yourself can afford it.

Re: 10/20 commerce deep, QQ OOP
I don't see how betting can be a good idea. Seems like Laak calls with a very wide range here, and we are going to have no clue where we are if he calls.
Furthermore, the donktard can have plenty of Kx hands that he isn't folding either. I think checking and re-evaluating is your best bet. If someone comes out swinging, I think you give up on it and find a better spot. If the action looks weak, a CR bluff seems like it might work here. |

Re: 10/20 commerce deep, QQ OOP
if ur deep OOP w/ QQ on a K high flop, vs Phil Laak (rock) who could have KK, AA, AK, or 66 easily here, this is c/f flop but sometimes u could lead if feel phil cant beat QQ so u can be HU vs calling station donk
