Trouble with Best Buy Warranty
I am having significant trouble with a computer that I purchased from Best Buy, and they are not honoring the warranty to my satisfaction. For example, when I reported one problem, the BB employeee actually said, "The hard drive is just old (it was about 14 months old at the time), we can't do anything about that." Later, when the same problem recurred on my third hard drive, which was approximately three months old at the time, a different employee told me that it was a software issue, and as such was not covered by the warranty.
I have some questions about getting the warranty honored to my satisfaction, but would prefer to discuss them in private. If anyone feels comfortable helping me with this, please PM me. Scott PS I will never buy a Compaq or Best Buy product again, and I wouldn't recommend that you do either. |
