Default 5/10 AQo in the big blind

6 handed in a land thats not party.
the game is pretty good. the group seems like a mix of people who are just laggy. the table has had a lot of light pfring and people seem to be letting it get out of hand. vill seems aggro, but has not stepped way out of line postflop.

he raises utg and its folded to me. i call.

AdJd3c

i check, he bets, i raise, he 3-bets, i call

5h

i check...

sometimes i 3-bet preflop and usually i cap the flop if i didnt 3-bet preflop. i didnt due to the nature of the table and of the board...thoughts?

If I'm not capping that flop, its because I'm check/raising the turn. Given the table makeup and his likely read of you, he probably expects you to c/r this flop with a huge range of hands.

I like capping and leading better because I don't want to give a free card.

i would have capped and led...and at the time i wasnt sure why i didnt. after thinking about it, i dont think most people 3-bet for a free card here...esp without an ace they will bet on the turn.

but this was my real question...go for the turn cr or just smash his face in on the flop?
