Default HELP!

hiya all.

a quick update and 2 big questions.

update..
since the end of april, i have been in the retail banking business. i work for the 7th largest bank in the world, and my branch is the 5th largest in the district (300++ branches).

consequently, to say i have been out of touch is an understatement. i last played poker at the wsop. that includes online play. FWIW, the retail LOB for my bank has not reacted or responded in any way to the signing of the law. in essence, we have not officially stopped doing business with ANYONE. i am sure the legal department is working on this, but from a banker's perspective, i have not heard word one about enforcement.

btw, as a bonus, you can now ask granny about Anything involving banking as it relates to money movement, tax issues, ACH and EFT deposits etc., or if you just want to buy a CD from me send a PM.
(kidding)

ok, now that i have bored you with my update, here is what i seek.

WTF is going on with online poker??

1. where do i play? bodog ok? i want SHlhe, 5-10 to 20-40. i don't play stars.

2. how do i fund.

i simply need cliff notes.

in advance, i say to all ye that tell me to read the archives or do a search, you can swab my sphincter with your tongue.

Best Wishes,

Granny

Bodog's fine. Neteller is fine. There are lists of US-friendly sites all over the place, but PokerSiteScout is also useful in seeing what happened to the traffic.

1. Read the sticky in the legislation forum
2. Stars, FT, UB, Bodog, Absolute, WPEX... all business as usual
3. Neteller... business as usual, for now... waiting on bank regulations to be written
4. More sophisticated bots have invaded mid-stakes limit, NL & SNGs
5. Sites are rigged... BBV has overtaken OOT, as the #1 forum on 2+2

Somebody more in the OOT-know than I should sum up how OOT chased Ed Miller from the forums for Granny.

It's been an interesting few months.

Meh, [censored] had a contest to see who OOT wanted to vote out, Elaine wins in a landslide. [censored] follows through. Ed and Elaine both decide it is in their best interest to just forget about the website entirely. Pretty sure this was pre-WSOP though.

Welcome back Granny! It is good to hear from you. Neteller is still just fine. I play mostly 10 person limit games on Bodog. Games are ok but seem somewhat tighter than one year ago. Not sure about six max tables. Best wishes!

Thank you,

Jim Kuhn
