Atlantic City Live Stud Action Info

Just went to Taj and Borgata, thanks to Jeffage's thread a while back. They had Stud hi 1-5, 5-10, and many limits above this - much more popular than hi-lo - many games at borgata in the middle limits around 30/60. For hi-lo they had a 2 way game combined with Omaha hi-lo with a kill - the limits were 3/6, 10/20 and 20/40 at Taj and 10/20 and above at Borgata.

I should mention the stud8 half of the 10/20 at Borgata can be quite good. In one of my recent trips we actually had a community card for the river [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I found that the 15/30/45 stud8/omaha8 at the Taj is atleast as soft. However, I must not be there at the right time, because I never found either game to be extremely loose.

The Taj sometimes also has a 50/100 2-way game, which is one of the largest games they spread these days with all the high limit action at the Borgata.

How is 5-10 at the Taj? Anyone? That's where a few people here suggested I start due to the rake in 1-5.

I don't generally play stud high. The 5-10 game at the Taj is OK. It can be fairly tight, particularly during the day.

Used to be everyone spread lots of 1-5. Nowadays, Harrahs AC usually has like 3 tables of it with their octagenarian set, and you can generally find it at the Taj.

The spread limit games are sort of waiting for a loose fish to bust. It is pretty low stakes and you won't make a big hourly rate, but it is OK to start there depending on where you are at.

True, but the O8 half is much tighter at Taj.

Was Borgata spreading any limits under the $15/30/45 game ?
$5/10 or 10/20 ?...

Virtually never happens - Borg just isn't the place for low limit stud in AC. Plus, the 10 at Taj seemed like a joke when I sat it for a bit waiting for 20. I'd just play there.

I tried to play at the Taj on Fri., the lists were insane around noon.
I ended up leaving and playing 5/10 at the Trop, which had three games going by 9PM or so. No 10/20 games though.
