i like to chase my losses.

today:

im sitting in a decent 200/400 game. i start losing. down 8K to start the session.

i see a 500/1k game going. i have 27k on pstars and had just deposited 10K into ftp (was now at 12K)

i sit in the 500/1k game. i lose every hand and lose my 12k in about 30 seconds.

i ask a friend for a transfer, and trade him 10K from my pstars acct for ftp.

current tally: 9K pstars, 10K ftp. (down about 20K)


i lose my 10K on ftp again, but this time in 32 seconds. but meanwhile i ran my pstars account up to 16K, so its not much of a loss. i ask my friend if i should continue chasing my losses on ftp. he says he never wins after rebuying over and over. he also reminds me that i told him never to send me more than one transfer in a day, especially if im losing. he signs off aim (turns out it was accidental but at the time i was steaming).

i play more on stars. the game has gotten 3 handed, with one good player who is tilting and one idiot. the idiot keeps sucking out. me and the other good player keep losing. i get down to 8k.

i lose it all in the next 30 minutes. oops.

current tally: -39K or so

i look in my account and have 800 left. it wont let me rebuy with my 800, so i go into neteller. my balance is 79 cents. my 30K in withdrawals from other sites havent come through yet. so i do an instacash deposit for 1500. the deposit goes through and i buy into a 200/400 cash game for 2300 (all that i have left on pstars).

i win every hand, and leave with 20k.

total for the day: -19541.00. not so bad? or am i a poker degenerate?

or if you where tilting enough to know that you wheren't +EV in those games anymore.

actually i had to borrow the entire 1633. my net worth has gone from 1.2 million 3 months ago to -129K, almost entirely to phil ivey and skywalker1709.
