Default $225 AQ pf

Villain was loose but relatively passive. I don't remember, but I don't think 4bb was his standard raise.

Fold. His raise screams I don't want to play postflop, but I don't want to fold. With your chip position racing here is really bad.
If he raised 3bb or less shove. Although I may call a min raise.

I think I'd actually push here. He can't call you without a monster and I highly doubt he has AA-QQ. There's a chance he has AK but whatever, you have to take the odd chance.

See, I may be the crazy one, but I would probably call here and see the flop. With the chip stacks, it isnt a huge chunk of the stack. You also represent a hand and could use that to outplay later. Also, i dont see 4xBB that that huge a raise, however, if it is AK, will you scare em off? Maybe. The only thing raising would chase off is a bluff.

Calling 4bb with AQ OOP kind of sucks though since there's not much to do unless I hit the flop.

With these stacks I'd just fold.

Ya i think this is a fold because it's 4bbs which indicates he doesn't plan on folding.

But don't these kind of raises often indicate that he doesn't plan on folding *to the shorter stacks*?

this is one of those spots thats so grey in STTs...AQ to a sizy raise where youre not sure how much FE you have and you dont have a good enough read to make it a definite shove or fold. because you say hes loose, i may shove, but i think this is very close, and the presence of a few short stacks may make this a fold. we're soooooted, so shove i guess
