Default Suspected to use a bot. How to react ?

Hello all.
It's my first post in the zoo, and though I'm not a regular or a well-known poster on 2+2, I was astonished and disgusted to receive this :

Hello Vojislav,

As part of our player protection and security policy, our systems regularly
check for any prohibited programs, that are running on a player's computer.

This policy is explained at http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/tos/

We are alerting you to the fact that you may be running WinHoldem. If this
is the case, you should stop running the program immediately.

If you are not running the program, it would be helpful if you could
explain why our systems have indicated the presence of WinHoldem.

Please be assured that our system scans only for evidence of running
prohibited programs as per our Terms of Service, and nothing else.

Regards,

Bob

Hello support and security,

I was really astonished to recieve your mail. I apaologize in advance for my English, which is not my mothern language.
I never used or intended to use WinHold'Em, which I believe you could easily check out by checking my account details - logs, duration of my session, response time (I believe and I really hope you can detect and analyse these things) number of tables played and especially games played (I play mainly stud/8 in sit&goes and 2/4 cash games, HORSE in sit&goes and I also play some PLO. I really seldom play holdem at all which I'm not fond of and my results shall prove it pretty easily).
I was indeed surfing on 2+2 forums on the topic :

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...e=0#Post8071582

which deals abouts bots used on online poker. If you read that topic and the topic in the"Zoo" which is related, you'll see that it is about the creator of WinHold'em spamming and advertising his software (which is by no means cheating) and telling in the end that there are new features that he included to his software that will kill the game pretty soon.
That was really frightening me, as I'm already pretty frightened not to play against humans, or even worse playing against colluding bots. I then decided to type "WinHoldem" in google to see what this stuff was about and visited their site.
I personnaly guarantee that I'm not using any cheat, and not even any permitted programm like Sn&goes calculator or PT or PO for the matter. I am totally ok to let you do any checkings or scans on my computer (I don't know in which matter this is doable) or whatever but I would be really very angry to see my account closed or whatever sanction just because I was taking informations about these motha******* that are killing my favourite game.
I am personnaly not an informatician so I don't know to which extent can sites like WinHoldem send cookies, trojans or whatever and what exactly you have detected on my computer but you'll understand my disgusted feeling if I happen to have problems while real cheaters don't !
By the way, I will crosspost this mail and my answer on the forum of ClubPoker (a french poker forum in which I'm a regular and organising a sit&go challenge on your room) and if necessary on 2+2.

Hoping in advance you'll check out my arguments,

Vojislav.

WTF ??? They scan my computer ; detect a Winholdem programm running while I almost never play hold'em and accuse me of cheating ? And I'm sure real cheaters are never caught.
How can I possibly defend myself ?

Delete your post and wait for a reply, they did not say "cheater!", they asked for an explanation, big big difference.

If you visited the WinHoldem site Stars may have just detected the cookies stored on your computer. No big deal.

You can't have it both ways, either games full of bots and collusion or fair games with a few episodes like this; be happy that they try to figure these things out.

I was accused of colluding at Sun Poker...it really made me upset. I had just signed up for the account to take advantage of a bonus, and about 1 hour into playing some guy tells me he is sending an e-mail because I'm colluding with player X...it was like three handed hold em. Anyways, I e-mailed them saying how pissed I was for being accused of it by this clown with no evidence and they sorted it all out. If you haven't done anything wrong just explain it to them and you'll be fine.

I hope they wouldn't suspect bot use just from browsing the site as I'm sure the last few days many people that detest bots have browsed the site after seeing the Party Bot thread, me being one of them.
