Note that he doesn't give me much credit.
For this reason I thought betting flop was kind of like sticking my head into a fire cause he's likely to call and further action probably makes me queasy. For this reason also I decided to value bet river. You like/dislike? |

alright I will edit my first response.
Probally fold river, doubt its a bluff but kind of player dependant. Sure there are tons of missed draws but is a regular calling with KJ preflop. Who is the regular? |

If he thinks you ever check this flop with AQ/KQ, then you should fold, cuz he won't be bluffing and he won't be value raising anything you beat.
If he convinces himself that you can't have AQ/KQ becuase you didn't bet the flop, then it's possible that he is trying to represent a Q knowing that you have to fold most of your range to a river raise. So this hand is pretty readbased, but absent one I think you need to fold. AT just isn't value raising here. |

one more thing, his range of callng my 3 bet is wide, cause I 3 bet a fair number of hands
Q: Do you think he's raising the river with AA/KK. Does that change your answer? the villain is SamyLony |

I don't think he's very good. I imagine you're aggressive and don't let go of hands too easily he seems to be sticky and bluffy, so it probably works out against you.
Anyway, my thoughts for the hand, correct me if you see a problem with it. On the river, by that raise he's representing a monster. AA/KK has no business being there with this action, let alone raise the river on that board... A queen checking behind flop and flatting turn? NOT likely. 88 or QT checking behind flop? NOT likely. So unless he has 44 (NOT LIKELY) I think I'm very likely to be ahead here... |

To improve as a player, though, I think you need to at least consider analysis on this level, even if it ultimately does not hugely factor in your decision. As for him value rasing AA/KK here, it would certainly swing your decision to a much easier fold, as it's just that much more of his range that you lose to. |

I usually c/c the river.
If I bet though I like your size(I would prolly go 40-60) and It's w/ the intention of calling any raise. So ye think you played it good start to finish. Flop check is good even w/o villain description but even better w/ it. Paul |
