Why do you think that you can only cash out $50?

If I remember correctly they only let you cash out how much your first deposited or the total of all your deposits. After that first withdrawl goes through then you can cashout as much as you want without having to wait.

Yes you can only cash out what your original deposit is. So if you deposited $60 and you got it up to over$250. You can only cash out your first time for $50. I believe there is a 48 hour rule as well that is in effect when you make your first deposit. I don't like that either. Why is it this way, so you just say screw it i'll just keep it in there and try to win more before i cash out. Most people lose more money in this time than make money. That's their goal. Be careful, I had it set up through e-check. They made a mistake and double charged a deposit i made to my checking account. I deposited $50 bucks into my account, got credit for $50 in my account, but my checking account had 2 seperate $50 charges on it. I alerted them the problem and no one made it right. I kept getting the running around and told my bank it was an unauthorized use on my account. It's been a huge hassle. I really liked pokerstars untill that happened. I'm not playing there anymore becasue of what happened.

A site's goals are not for you to lose your deposits at the tables, since that goes to other players. They make money by hosting a fair game and taking a rake.

When cashing out of many sites, if you are clearing a deposit bonus, there are restrictions to withdrawing the bonus amounts (they have to be cleared).

Do you understand though how money money these sites make having all that money sit in a bank somewhere earning 6% interest and so on. I understand your thought, the money is going to other players, not the house. But all the accounts on the site, all sit in a bank and is really all pokerstars money untill you decide to cashout. That's why the money isn't really yours untill you receive your check or your direct deposit. Just think of all the accounts on the site and everyone's bankrolls, how much that is as a total. They are making hundreds of thousands of dollars just having money being in people's accounts.
