Default Was Mason at Mirage playing 20-40 past 2 days?

I was there and noticed a guy with 2p2 shirt. Looked like him but the only picture I have ever seen of him is from the back of his books which is from 20 years ago. If it was him, I am surprised he only plays 20-40.

"I am surprised he only plays 20-40."

Dude,

It was more then likely the highest limit game in the room. Heck, the last three times I played the Mirage, 10-20 was the highest limit game going.

BTW, He'll play higher (sometimes much higher) when he's at Bellagio.

Happy Pokering,

Howard

Mason doesn't play huge games, he plays only in games where he feels he has a significant edge and doesn't risk his bankroll (usually in the 60-80 game range if I remember correctly). He also doesn't play much anymore, running 2+2 takes a lot of his time. This is fairly common knowledge around here.

Send him a PM, he doesn't have the time to read all of the forums.

I would think it was him. I played in the same game with him last month at the Mirage and he had the maroon 2+2 shirt on (it was no-limit that day).

btw, How many people play in the Mirage 20-40, look exactly like Mason and wear a maroon 2+2 shirt?

Howard

Well, the only reason I even noticed him was bc of the sps shirt. If it wasn't for the shirt, I wouldn't have even thought of him. I wasn't playing at the table so it wasn't like I was staring at him for hours. The guy I saw had fairly curly hair and I didn't think MM had curly hair. And also, I didn't think he played 20-40. I'm not from Vegas so I have no idea where he plays and what limits....I kinda assumed it would be Bellagio 40-80 and above.

FWIW, I've seen him at Mirage many times (he likes the place). If the 40-80 does not go there, he'll often play NL or 20-40 from what I've seen.

btw, he's always been very nice whenever I've talked to him. YMMV.

Happy Pokering,

Howard
