Default 200NL, Overpair OOP vs 2 Opponents

6-max Seat #6 is the button

Early in session, villain seems pretty aggressive, calls in position a fair bit, and looks like an all around savvy player. Other player involved in hand I have no reads on.

Seat 1: murph0511 ($292 in chips)
Seat 2: cheddarmon ($181 in chips)
Seat 3: jazz_com ($179.70 in chips)
Seat 4: Kinkerbells ($88.60 in chips)
Seat 5: bm001 (HJ) ($146.55 in chips)
Seat 6: snakekilla88 (CO, villain) ($469.95 in chips)

Hero dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

murph0511: posts small blind $1
cheddarmon: posts big blind $2

Preflop: hero raises to $8, fold, HJ calls, CO calls, the rest fold.

Flop: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
hero bets 21, HJ calls, CO moves in for 461.95, hero?

This seems like the classic set/two pair, or huge draw, so I hope anyone can help on determining which it is.

Thanks.

My guess.

Some sort of straight-flush draw. I see this done all the time with the straight-flush draw. It's stupid, IMO, but hey, whatever floats their boat.

Likely JTc.

If he's good he'll mix in set-bets with it. OTOH, with one caller and raising vs. an unknown, I doubt it's a set (and really doubt it's 2P).

You're going to win 43.74% of the time vs. OESFD and you need to put in $150 to win $370 total. OTOH, you don't really have a clue what the caller is calling with. He might have a set, flush draw, straight draw, pocket pair.

I think the set is rather unlikely given that their were 3 people and a 2 flush-hit the board.

I'd probably call, but then I've never really met people who stack bet their sets on the flop.... And if the other person has a flush draw it'll interfere with the other guys' outs. (He'd be idiotic to go all-in with a OESD only).

Req

was raising a lot preflop, and mostly continuation betting and folding to resistance after missing, or just check-folding. Hadn't hit any flops in a while

Seems like a pretty sweet spot to do this with whatever weakish draw (flush, openended, flush+gutshot, etc). Seems like a good spot to do with a monster as well.

Hmmmm, I think we know how snakekilla88 is winning.

He has the almighty 2c up his sleeve!

Nice to know I'm correct in calling, though snakekilla might be yanking our chain :^).
