This is a tight table (26% see flop, 6 € average pot), but I can blame myself for letting this be such a multiway pot.
CO is 8/4/*bet every* after only 48 hands, but I don't think that's too important since he can limp many hands here and because of the small sample size (4/48 hands make him tight though). I havn't seen the button (20/12/1.6) show down a hand either. No reads what so ever. 1/2 (10 handed) Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB checks. I often call with AQ after _three_ limpers, but then I'm mostly in late position. I guess it's because I want to see the flop and then more easily cut people out if I can raise a somewhat vulnerable top pair. Even though I have less pot equity with AQ in a multiway pot I should raise AQ like always in an unraised pot, right? Flop: (8 SB) Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (8 players) SB bets, BB folds, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, Hero raises , CO calls, Button calls, SB calls. A no brainer. Turn: (8,5 BB) K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, Hero bets , CO raises, Button calls, Hero folds. The pot is big (13,5 BB), but I need at least three outs and I didn't see them at the moment. What do you think? |

Looks like any Ace or Queen will give you the best hand
here. That's five outs at 8.2-1. The pot is 12-1 at least. Call down. |

An A puts 3 boardway cards on the board making a straight possible, the A of clubs puts a possible flush on the board. A red queen is the only card that's safe and helps.

I'd call but it looks like a pretty close decision. And yeah, definitely raise preflop.
