100NL. QQ line check v solid opponent
villain and i don't have a tonne of history, but he is a solid player, runs at about 20/11/2.5 over 300 hands. he would view me as TAG. i've been extra aggressive in the last couple of orbits.
i think this is super-standard. just checking. 6 max. HERO: $172 VILLAIN: $126 HERO is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 1 limp, VILLAIN raises to $6, 2 fold, HERO calls, 2 fold. flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] HERO bets $10, VILLAIN shoves for about $120, HERO folds.

i will often 3bet this, but OOP w/ QQ vs a decent player i'm not looking to play the biggest pot of my life unless i flop a set.
if i do flop that set there's plenty of time to get the money in and if i don't i can try and keep the pot managable once i've established where i stand, which is why i lead out on the flop. the flop is what i'm curious about here. anyone c/c? c/r? c/f? bet/3bet(or call in this case)?

i dunno, isnt that 120$ shove into $24 pot abit aggro to be a set?
what are we scared of primarily? a set or KK, AA ? what hands could he make this play with that you beat? pure bluff, AJd TT maybe? poeple please point out my mistakes

i think his hand lies in TT JJ [QQ] KK AA AdJd, not very likely AdKd,
22/44 i doubt 99.5% cause of preflop the flop shove is pretty suss, but he could easily be doing that to represent a bluff if he is holding JJ... as for your line i like a preflop raise, you would definately gain some more info flop bet ok, his shove is pretty unusual. i think your fold is good
