help in the blinds
2nd orbit so nothing I can tell you about this guy.
I'm trying to stop being so passive, but I've been taking marginal hands too far lately which doesn't make me happy. PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is SB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 7 folds, Hero raises, BB calls. Flop: (4 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls. Turn: (5 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, BB calls. River: (7 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls. Final Pot: 9 BB Comments on all 4 appreciated. I'm pretty sure I made the worst river play possible too. C/F is probably greater than B/F, right? |

Re: help in the blinds
Pre flop - I have no problem with the raise.
Flop - I like the bet. No reason to believe that a flop like this hit a random big blind. The raise by the BB creates a tough decision. It does not seem to me that he is going to raise without a hand that can beat you. I'd say JJ, QQ, TT, A9, AT, 99 and TT are all real possibilities. Turn: When he calls your bet, I think you can eliminate TT and most draws. He also is probably telling you that you are going to have to showdown the best hand. River - There is probably some equity in seeing his hand and getting a read on him and there is an outside chance he was getting cute with something like 44. River- |
