5/10NL, 240x bb deep, bottom set.
Long time lurker, first time poster. I know 5/10nl hands aren't suppossed to be in high stakes, but this is against another 2p2'er and is pretty deep stacked. Move to Middle stakes if necessary.
This hand occurred about 3/4 into my 2500 hand session. I haven't played many hands with the villian, so I dont have much of a read on him. I do know that he is a 2p2'er and he is playing about 4-6 tables, so I have been respecting him for the most part. He has been playing pretty loose preflop, but tighens up postflop. I have a TAG image and I believe that he respects my play as well as I am playing 6-8 tables. I dont have any pokertracker stats because I was playing on my laptop. Poker Stars No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $5/$10 5 players Converter Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with :6h :6c [color=#cc0000]UTG raises to $40</font>, 2 folds, Hero calls, BB folds. Flop: :6d :jc :tc ($90, 2 players) [color=#cc0000]Hero bets $70</font>, [color=#cc0000]UTG raises to $222</font>, [color=#cc0000]Hero raises to $666</font>, [color=#cc0000]UTG raises all-in $2368</font>, Hero ????. From what I've seen, I believe his range is pretty small: TT-JJ, JT, AKcc, AQcc, KQcc. I think the problem is my reraise on the flop. I think I am defining my hand too much by reraising. Does anybody like just calling his raise and leading a brick on the turn?? I really hate folding sets, especially on a flop with no straights or flushes. What do you guys think? P.S. I might be a noob when it comes to hand converter. If someone could fix it if I did it wrong, that'd be much appreciated. |

Re: 5/10NL, 240x bb deep, bottom set.
i don't like your 3bet unless you are committing yourself to call a push.
i suspect that your range is too narrow flush wise. add in 67s and other suited connectors, suited aces, etc. change :6d to 6\:diamond\: w/o the slashes. |

Re: 5/10NL, 240x bb deep, bottom set.
you might find it interesting if you take out TJ/TJs, villian would be a 70:30 favourite..
so does he raise TJ utg very often? |
