Default Stars is too lenient when players DC...

If a player DCs late in a tournament, they get 2 minutes then 1 minute then 30 seconds during which the tournament clock stops and everyone has to wait.

This is very annoying, but it's not my main problem:

My main problem is that when they reconnect and then disconnect again, the stoppage resets to 2 minutes rather than continuing at the previous amount of time.

Why is that much latitude allowed?

Great if you need it, horrible when it slows your game down!

I do not see it abused that much, & I usually 8 table/occasionally have connection problems so I like this feature. If someone is abusing it, try emailing Stars.

I agree and when they dont respond they dont get folded they get checked. Also I really hate the time banks. Nine times out of ten it is someone that is not paying attention or not at the computer.

The only thing I would change about the pokerstars NL timebank, is that during cash game play it should not activate until 20BB's are in the pot. That would quicken up the games a bit.

Good shout about the 20BBs. Sometimes, for 100BB decisions longer is needed. Is there anyway this can be allowed for in a huge pot, and maybe lower the time in the smaller ones?
