Stars is too lenient when players DC...
If a player DCs late in a tournament, they get 2 minutes then 1 minute then 30 seconds during which the tournament clock stops and everyone has to wait.
This is very annoying, but it's not my main problem: My main problem is that when they reconnect and then disconnect again, the stoppage resets to 2 minutes rather than continuing at the previous amount of time. Why is that much latitude allowed? |

Great if you need it, horrible when it slows your game down!
I do not see it abused that much, & I usually 8 table/occasionally have connection problems so I like this feature. If someone is abusing it, try emailing Stars. |

I agree and when they dont respond they dont get folded they get checked. Also I really hate the time banks. Nine times out of ten it is someone that is not paying attention or not at the computer.

the time banks are great and make perfect sense in no limit games

Re: Stars is too lenient when players DC...
The only thing I would change about the pokerstars NL timebank, is that during cash game play it should not activate until 20BB's are in the pot. That would quicken up the games a bit.

Good shout about the 20BBs. Sometimes, for 100BB decisions longer is needed. Is there anyway this can be allowed for in a huge pot, and maybe lower the time in the smaller ones?
