Default the river c/r bluff

perhaps the most all-around badass move of no-limit hold'em.

a lot of tags don't even have it in their collection of plays but the best players is able to make this play with correct frequency to keep their opponents on their toes/get max value from the river value c/r.

what types of factors do you use to choose these tricky spots to make this play?

what i can think of off the top of my head are:

1- hero reads villian as drawing until river which "blanks" aka doesn't complete any draw(s)
2- hero thinks villian reads hero for a strong hand and NOT drawing and making this play on a blank river (e.g. hero both bets flop/turn and/or raises one or both previous streets)
3- villian doesn't think hero is capable of making this play
4- hero thinks villian is capable of making thin value bets on river with one pair type hands that are unable to withstand a large c-r

can anyone add?

Where the board texture and flop/turn action make it nearly impossible that a particular villain could have a big hand

There are certain lines that tags will take that scream one pair. Try it on those once in a while. You know what lines they are.
