villain is 38/18/2 over like 40 hands.
I'm just thinking I'm ahead here way too often and a call makes river tough. Thoughts? Looks like he's betting a flush draw and you just gave him improper odds to draw. I think you can accomplish the same goal by raising to say 100 or 110 on the turn. That will probably have the same affect as pushing, except this way you save some money if your read is off.

I don't mind the raise if you feel he's going to come along with KJ/QJ, a middle-high pair. If not I probably call this and bet the river for $80.

standard? good/ Would you do it?
AggJedi, IMO the problem with 100 is you're going to lose MAD MONEY if you're folding to a reraise here and he's capable of reraising with QJ/KJ also I think some people have an infantile understanding of folding equity and EV and are capable of pushing over a bet on turn with a draw my image is very aggro btw |

First, do not make it $100 and then fold to a push on turn. If you are raising, just push. I like your play, esp. since you said your table image is very aggro as the player may have a weaker J and call, may have bet a flush draw, or may just be getting fed up.

This is fine, in my opinion.
Folding the turn after you raise to $100 is beyond bad. |

How about leading for like $35. If he's on flush draw he may just call and you can snap bluff on river if he misses. If he's raising your turn lead I would then feel comfortable folding. W/ only 40 hands this is pretty much a blind read unless you have some specific info. on him. I don't like the stackadonk line w/ only a pair of Jacks w/ no real read on whether this guy sucks or not. I'm really not sure. Interesting spot. Would like to hear more opinions.

I prefer to open bet turn for 50 to keep KJ QJ JT in the hand. A check raise will afraid him too much and we lose value IMO.

I hate the c/r. If you want to maintain your aggro image, just lead.

I think the c/r looks superstrong and you lose a lot of value from worse hands that might have paid you off otherwise. Both a lead and a c/c are decent alternatvies here.
