Default Bad Turn vs. Bad Player - 5/10NL 6max

Villain (BB) is pretty bad, calls alot - but he does have SOME concept of what he's doing postflop. 50/10/1.5 over 100 hands or so.

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $5/$10
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $970
UTG+1: $592.35
CO: $994
Button: $960
Hero: $1292.25
BB: $2919.25

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
2 folds, CO raises to $35, Button folds, Hero calls, BB calls.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($105, 3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $105, CO folds, Hero raises to $380, BB calls.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($865, 2 players)
Hero ???

$865 in the pot, $877 left in my stack, he covers.

I would bet an amount that would maximize the chances that you will get bluffed as if he has a flush you are always paying off given stack sizes and pot size but you do not want to give a free card if he has draws, and if he has nothing then you obviously want his money in so I would say 410.

I bet $590 and was obviously calling a push. He tanked then finally mucked - said he thought his 53o was behind after the turn card.

Betting smaller might have been better. Checking might have been okay too, although I woulda been pretty upset if another heart rolled off and he had the 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Still not sure about this spot. My default was just to bet and pray, but how often is he coming along without a flush or straight?

with about pot left, I probably push or 500, call the rest.

if you were as deep as he was, I would lean towards check.

push and pray.

it's not a prayer, with the off chance he may have a flush, you still got 10 outs,

i'm really worried about the straight though.. but you still have 10 outs and no way you are folding IMO
