Need info about AC/O8

I'll be making my trip to AC from DC area on Dec. 8th....arriving super early...leaving Sat mid morning...

question...where and when are the O8 games?... any limit will do (well....6/12 and under)

I was in AC two months ago, Taj Mahal had a 2/5 going on all the time and usually a 5/10. Higher was unusual, sometimes (weekends) they spread a 15/30 (I think it was) split game O8/Stud8 game. The game was awful most players called 60-100% of the hand, some were calling down all the way if they paired without a low on a paired, flush, straight board with a possible low. No way. Well, they actually got interst lists at Borgata, maybe you can get a game during the weekends. PLO is Tunica, and at Beau Rivage they have PLO8 sometimes (no maximum buy in, sick pots 1/2 games can have 3000 dollar pots)

From my limited experience, the Taj is IT for O8 in AC. I haven't been to the Borgata since the new room opened, but last time I was there, the only O8 on the board was $80/160.

Come two weeks earlier. The Trump Classic tournament series will have a PLO8 tournament on the 28th. $300+40

taj O8 stakes are 2/4 and 5/10. 3/6 and 15/30 include rotations of stud/8

$5/$10 there is played with a full kill, so the pots get pretty big. i might scrap some money together to make some runs at the $15/$30 2-way game sometime soon.

Trop sometimes has 2/4 O8, but I seldom check it out.
I don't know how often it goes.

The Taj $5/10 O8 game is the most consistent game, but
the 15/30/45 Stud8/O8 goes almost every day by 11 am.
It usually goes all night on weekends. In summer, they
often have a 10/20 2-way game with half kill, and maybe
a 10/20 O8 game. There may also be a 2/4 or 3/6 2-way
game at busier times.

I played in the Taj 5/10 and 15/30/45 games this weekend.
In my first hand at 5/10, I was dealt AAxxs after posting
from the CO. Ten players saw the flop on an unraised pot!
At most, only one other player had an Ace. The flop came
KKT, and I folded after a bet and 3 callers. The turn was
an Ace! Two players showed down crappy hands with trip
Kings.

I have never played O8 at Borgata. I watched the 150/300
game for a while. I was amazed that several players at
this level picked up there cards several time during the
hand for a second or third look.
