NASCAR?

Im not a real fan of nascar but I was given some tickets to the race today (busch series). The race starts at 7:00 but ticket says gates open at noon. Why? When should I go? They are suite tickets if that means anything (ie im away from track/drivers).

People usually go to make a day of it(get drunk, shop at the trailers). It's alot of walking to do as well unless you go just to watch the race. Traffic is probably worse for a NASCAR race than just about any event, but the Busch series shouldn't be as big of a deal. I'd say you'd probably want to arrive at the track at least an hour before if you just want to sit in the suite, more if you plan on doing anything else.
