I agree that you should have raised the flop. But we are not worried about the flop so i feel you should bet 200-300 and insta fold to any raise. Although you are clearly not gunna be called by any worse hands and virtually all better hands are gunna call, I feel this bet will stop the busted flush draw from moving all in which i feel the villan has much of the time in this situation. If you know ur oponent well enough you can check fold the riv.

You want to overbet the pot to make sure your opponent doesn't make a bad call, and then fold an overpair with the nut flush draw to any raise from one opponent? This is not good.

edit: I see you're talking about the river. This is still no good. I think check calling the river is much better if you want to try and keep the pot smaller. I still bet the river because our opponents will pay us off with hands that we can beat.

lead the flop big. bet the turn. try to go all in at every point earlier than you did. standard, drunk line. get all the money in. ultimate pwnage. pass the yeungling.

I don't get check/call flop?

You have an overpair to begin with, and the nut flush draw. Assuming you hit that flush you're gonna find it really hard to get paid for it.

Just bet the flop, make it like t180. Play for stacks! A check/raise here is also much stronger, just leading makes it look like you're making a standard c-bet.

Then on the turn, bet. Likewise the river. These guys at the lower levels love to call, so bet out so that they can. Build your pots!!

Now you've got to this river in this way, I'd just check/call I guess. He probably checks behind a lot but that's fine.

Why in the world did you slow down on the flop? Lead that flop.
