SB vs BB - fight!!
I didn't have enough stats on villain, but he seemed to love to call raises and try outmaneuver players with post-flop moves and in general rather bluff-happy.
I really wasn't sure what he had here, I rarely felt so lost by the river. Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $57.85 UTG+1: $117.85 CO: $107.25 Button: $133.65 hero: $101.50 BB: $101 Pre-flop: (6 players) hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 folds, hero raises to $4, BB calls. Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($8, 2 players) hero bets $6, BB calls. standard c-bet Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($20, 2 players) hero checks, BB bets $20, hero calls. I thought he'd bet the turn probably with ATC, so I let him. Not sure, though, if I should raise here, since I'd hate to get reraised. River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($60, 2 players) hero checks, BB bets $60, hero ??? In this situation I'm really worried about maaaany hands: sets, two pair, BDFD, KQ straight, better Aces... Easy fold? |

Re: SB vs BB - fight!!
yep easy fold, unless you've got a tremendous read that says will bet potsize on river on dangerous bluff people out, this is a clear fold. When you called his turn bet, you're representing an ace. On the river, he's cleary showing you that he doesn't care about what you are holding. You also forgot the backdoor flush in his range which is very possible, clear fold.

Re: SB vs BB - fight!!
Hmm fold. Even if he was just floating, a lot of hands just got there. I'm pretty sure your TPNK is screwzorred.

Re: SB vs BB - fight!!
I'd bet like 18 on the turn. That makes it hard for him to outmaneuver you unless he's got a better hand, well, unless he's willing to put in a big raise w/ a weak hand. If he raises I'd fold and wait for a better spot if he's playing like a retard. Fold the river.

Re: SB vs BB - fight!!
this is barely even a $100 fight yo!
seriously, ummm check/fold river unless he bluffs a lot. There are many hands that beat you and it's very hard for us to say as we haven't seen other hands he has played and got a feel for when and where he bluffs and his bluffing frequency. To be on the safe side, it's quite an easy fold without reads as there are too many hands that beat you and most of the hands you beat wouldn't be at the river or bet it. True |

Either way, good to know I'm not too paranoid. I wasn't sure if my current downswing is making me too weak. Results: hero folded. Villain showed Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ... and went on to bluff off his stack three hands later. |
