In the meantime, before the mod involved answers, if you go back through the thread and first click (only) on the Notify Modify button of each post you may find the post that caused the "problem", as you will see a "Moderator already notified", or somesuch message.
Also, in general terms, a cross-posted thread is often locked in the secondary forum(s) once it is seen that there are two similar discussions taking place.
