So I have a hookup at Microsoft and I'm using the gold build of Vista Ultimate on my computer right now. I've been running it for just a few days, so I haven't played around with everything yet, but I'd be happy to answer any questions about it. I'm pretty computer literate, but if I don't understand something I'll let you know and you can explain the question better. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

No, I don't. I don't have a downloaded copy. I have an official internal DVD from Microsoft. Even if I did I don't think I would tell you where to get it as I would probably get banned. This is not a Warez forum.

It is running well. I would say things are maybe a touch slower than XP that was running on this computer. Things like opening programs and movies and stuff seem to take a little more time. Webpages don't load any slower, I haven't tried any games yet. I am running a Dell with a P4 2.3Ghz and 512mb RAM. I am planning on formatting the HD and reinstalling to get a fresh look at it.

I haven't had any problems with any apps yet. One of the best things about Vista is all the drivers update and most pieces of hardware work right out of the box. I had trouble connecting to my neighbor's wireless before this, after I installed Vista I have no problem connecting to any wireless around, and I didn't have to install any drivers to make it work.

How would I know? Online poker is illegal here? heh, just kidding. I've only tried Party, and it works fine.
