Default Atlanta @ Baltimore?

The line is -4. Surely baltimore should be much bigger favourites than this? Vick has been awful recently, and he has never been the best away from in the past. What ya'll think?

Why do you care how Vick has been 'recently'? If the last 4 weeks tell you anything, it should be that it doesn't matter how he did the previous week.

Very true. Either Atlanta will shine or they won't. Or somewhere in the middle.

Stay away from this bet.

I dunno, i went for 2 units on baltimore. Falcons are missing kerney now for the season, abraham is out so are webster and mathis. Although im not sure if webster being out is a bad thing or not. I think jamal lewis will have a great day against the falcons poor run defense. Baltimores defense will keep vick contained and the falcons will have a tough day on offense in general.

I think Balt should be -6 due to ATL injury woes.

Heh, true that.

I think a bigger factor is finding out whether or not Jimmy Williams is going to play. If he does, Atlanta will have 2 cover corners, which should help some against the run.

Also, Matt Lehr is coming back from steroid suspension, so he should help the Atlanta O-line. However, he won't be back to his starting position.

If I read it correctly Lewis' backup is injured, too. The Titans ran all over Baltimore, so it's tough not seeing Atlanta have some success, too.

Betting against Atlanta is almost always +EV but Baltimore has a lot of problems this week and has only been barely winning games. I think -4 is probably about right, I don't bet this.
