Default 2/4 at FT, AA that gets min-raised on the turn..call river?

Villain is 29/14/1.9, didnt seem to be very good to me.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $2/$4
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $528.80
CO: $447.20
Hero: $394
SB: $631.40
BB: $235.20

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $14</font>, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($32, 2 players)
SB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $24</font>, SB calls.

Turn: 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($80, 2 players)
SB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $50</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB raises to $100</font>, Hero calls.

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($280, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets $150</font>, Hero?

I think I have to call the turn. Is the river a standard fold?

Brand new here so take my post with a grain of salt I guess - but I'd call the river too. If you didn't beleive he had anything when the 4 came on the turn, the 3 doesn't change that right?

Could he be trying to float? Check raise on turn seems weird unless he's either hit a set or made a straight with 67. Neither of those would seem to make sense:

If he hit a set, why not check raise the flop bet?
He calls 3.5x BB PF raise with 67 OOP? Maybe - seen him play connectors like that?
He calls flop bet of 75% of pot with 4 to a straight? Maybe - your flop bet could have been more, maybe $30, which would make a call like that even less likely. If you hit it harder on the flop and he's flopped a set, he may just check raise there rather than wait til the turn.

Bottom line, you raised on the button a reasonable amount and he called it. He probably doesn't think you have AA and thinks he can chase you out - that is what it feels like to me anyway.

I think his bet sizing is fine.

I would want to fold turn and river, but would often pay off.

FWIW from my experience c/minraise on turn by an average-to-bad player is always a hand that villian thinks he has you by the balls with

Maybe only once in several months have I seen anything else, and that was a flush draw from a clueless opponent.

Of course, naturally I pay off like a fruit machine all the same

To all those saying call, what are you calling to beat? Your hand is pretty well defined after the turn, so I can't see you winning 25% of the time here. More like 5%.

That's exactly right. There is an approximately 1% chance that he expects you to fold the river. And if he doesn't expect you to fold, he expects to win, meaning he can beat AA a huge chunk of the time.

Jim, I don't like a turn fold, for metagame reasons if nothing else. If you're seen to bet/fold to minraises in spots like that, your life is going to get complicated fast. Make him follow through on the river. I've seen that check minraise with a decent range of hands, not only monsters but also hands testing the waters to see if you have a hand. The turn+river combination, however, defines a very narrow range.
