Best home team introductions?

I was just wondering what everyone else considers the greatest home team introductions for any team in any sport. My guess is that most nominations will be for basketball, but I don't know. That's just what comes to mind for me.

Anyway, I'm from Michigan, so I've always been a fan of "The Final Countdown," which the Pistons used during the Bad Boys era of 1988-1990. It was also pretty awesome in 2004. I think they used "Bawitdaba" by Kid Rock. Plus their PA announcer now (Mason) has a sweet voice and really gets into it.

As much as it pains me to admit it however, the best one in my opinion was at the United Center during Jordan's heyday. I HATE the Bulls, but I have to admit their intros were amazing back then. It gave me chills. Not even really sure what the music was, but I'm sure most of you remember it and would recognize it immediately when you heard it.

What are some other nominations for the best intro music/production in sports?

You're probably right. I didn't even notice there was a Sporting Forum. My general rule is, if it's not about poker, I post in OOT. Haha. That's the only non-poker one I ever look at. It's the most interesting.

Bulls hands down. I'd pay the money for a ticket just to go and see the intros and then leave - they're that incredible.

I lived in Chicago during the post-Jordan suck years and the saddest thing I have ever seen was the team hanging on to that intro.

When they cut the lights and you hear the announcer say
At guard... from Iowa State University....6'4" Frrrrrrred Hoiiii-berrrg

It really cheapens the memory.

an underrated part of that intro is "On The Run" by Pink Floyd playing in the background when the visiting team is introduced

the last minute of this video brought back some amazing memories. god the bulls were good, so nice to have the jazz as our whipping boys for so many years
