Little advice etc

OK firstly I'll introduce myself, my name is Darren been playing poker online for around two years now, tend to limit myself into sml buy in events eg $5 - $20 tornys on party.

I had a few wins online in the $600 range but nothing major i would say im slightly down over two years bad i know.

Started playing Live about 8 months ago at my local casino here in the Uk been to about 15 events so far never costing more than £10 buy in/re buys.

Seem to have done half decent playing live have made 8 final table in which six of them were in a row without rebuys, Obv with it only being 100 runners and £10 buy in's the prize was not great best finish is 2nd for £905 but tend to finnish 5/6th in live games.

Anyway Im really looking to win my way into a event either UK or USA obv this means playing a sat of some kind but im not sure whats best way to get the seat in this event.

My style is quite tight for the 1st 5 levels playing like a rock with odd steal, then if i got the chips its moving up a gear or ill tough it out if im short.

Advice please.

p.s i know six final table not a great achivement but for my experince i think its a good start
