push and be happy to win 600 or double up..at this point u should be playing for 1st not for second. so if u go out, so be it ; but doing anything else is -EV

Many times calling gets BB chips in the middle before you push. This is prolly what OP is contemplating (or should be).

i think u must push here b/c the BB is getting odds to call with just about anything and the button will prob fold after ur push and an allin from the BB.....

You have BB twice, so I'm assuming the big stack is the button.

I push this. The difference between 1st and 2nd is twice the difference between 2nd and 3rd.

You have a dominating hand. Shove it in and play for 1st.

Pushing is certainly +EV. If you call, BB will put in his stack lotta times then button will overcall then u can push. BB will fold lotta times if you push first, but ur play is still +EV just maybe not most EV.

if u call bb is certainly gonna push then button will call then ur allin will certainly be called by the button due to the pot odds he gets..u dont want this to be a 3way pot...er i wouldnt anyway............so push......

BTW, if ur BB and SB pushes YOU would prolly call cause the SB push might make Button fold and then you are HU with chance to triple, but many BBs at the lower levels will fold instead cause they see it as their chance for 2nd. This hand has lot more to think about than just rah push I have AK bleh. Thinking about what is correct from all spots in this hand is fun. People screw up this exact hand from the SB, BB and Button spots all the time and playing what they are LIKELY to do is better than playing what they SHOULD do sometimes.

If you call and the BB pushes for 100 more chips, I believe you are not allowed to re-push over the big stack, as the BB's all-in was an under-raise. Am I correct?

If this is the case I'd rather push now, as BB will often call anyway since he'd be left with 275 chips if he folds.
