Default Stay in with big cards on flop?

Would you have stayed with 2 big over cards on the flop here? No reads on this player.

I check turn, and then fold river if he bets.

I agree, I think you have to give up when you are called on the flop with the two overs to your pair.

No more money goes in after the flop. There are a LOT of A's and Q's in his raising range, and after he calls you, you have little fold equity with that board, so he probably won't fold the turn or river. (I assume you were trying to induce a fold? I.E. you were'nt betting for value?)

The river bet is bad. Before that is OK. You'll occasionally get a call on the river from some fish with an underpair, but usually your losing if you get called.

Without reads, I think I bet the turn--we are ahead when he is drawing to a flush or gutshot. We could easily fold to a c/r.

I definitely do not bet this river regardless of turn action.

Decision point is on the turn. We're either interested in putting in 1 more BB in hopes of seeing a showdown vs a range that includes a lot of draws that took one off on the flop, or giving up UI. I'd most likely bet/fold with plans to check behind on the river.

You can't bet both the turn and the river. Well... you obviously can... but you shouldn't.

when he just calls the flop I want to get to showdown. I like the turn bet, but I would check the river.
