Betting nut straight for most value?
Ultimate Bet $5-$10 NL
I am on the button with K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and ~$1,500. Villain is big blind and covers. I've seen him make some loose calls and chase without the right odds but nothing ridiculous. Folded to me, and I raise to $30. Small blind folds, and big blind calls. Pot = $65. Flop comes 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain checks; I bet $30; Villian raises to $120; I reraise to $360, and villian calls. Pot = $785, and I have about $1,000 remaining. Turn is the 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Villain checks; Hero...? Also, comments on flop betting appreciated. Thanks! |

Re: Betting nut straight for most value?
Bet more on the flop [at least 50]
Then the action is different and you can pot size shove the turn |

Re: Betting nut straight for most value?
as played i bet 300(setting him up to getting 3 to 1 on river call or maybe so he can think that he can c/r you) or 500-600(really trying to commit him to a river call if he calls turn and also because board has a lot of scare cards for you and him on river to kill action some) and move in on river
