shipping solutions

Evening all, earlier today, a terrible thing happenned.
I run a small ebay deal just like a bunch of other people, but I had an edge. I could ship any package anywhere within the confines of North America for a flat rate of $3. Now that advantage has evaporated and I find my self needing a new method of transport for the books I sell. Fedex is a no go, too expensive, but the post office is no good either.

Does anyone know of shipping solutions that will work for me now?

you don't like USPS's media mail? It's like $1.80 for a regular sized book.

I just found out about it about 4 hrs ago, that works even better than what I had before. It's nice to see that 2+2 would have come through like normal, Thanks all.

Were you normally getting a bulk rate or something?

No bulk rate, I'm a manager for Federal Express and as such could get a favorable rate. Now things are different and our discount is hardly worth mentioning.
