Default Good chop / bad chop?

I'm heads up 6 hours into a NLHE home tourney game that began with 20 people with a buyin of $20. First place pays $260 out of the $420 prize pool. Second place pays $80. Blinds are 10K/20K, the max they will go. I have 120K, but 20K is in the BB. My opponent has 100K. He is drunk but unpredictable. Blinds are obviously extremely high for chip stacks.

A deal is proposed where I would get $160, he would get $140, and we'd play it out for the remaining $40.

Good deal? Bad deal?

really depends on how much you care about the money. if the difference between 260 and 80 dollars is going to make you really really happy/sad, then its a good deal, however i would go for the win.

Deal is fair enough, and certainly not bad for you. But seriously, dealing here? Uh...

Seems like a good chop to me. I play several 20-30 man 30$ tourneys every week and have made a deal very similar to this on many occations, although the blinds usually never get this large in realation to stacks. With small stakes though i would probably like to play with 80$ left for the winner just to make it more interesting.
