Default Any game quite as profitable as NLH?

I've solid longterm (not rich by any means) success in every form of poker that I've played, except for LHE.

Lately the game of choice has been Limit O8. I've had longterm success at micro limits. The past week or so I've just been getting murdered. I'm lost as to how I've been a solid winner at 2/4, 3/6 and 10/20, but some goddam reason I keep losing at 5/10. Anyway, that's not the point.

I'm wondering, does anyone feel that the other disciplines are as profitable as NHL?

I hate 08--wouldn't play it with your money

Pot Limit Omaha (high hand) is a big money game. Variance through the roof though, so put your seat belts on. (Since you are from Europe, you probably know this).

I think hockey players make minimum 6 figures, but the first guy is right, it depends what you're good at.

Approximately "with all other factors being held equal". Which in the context of poker they usually can't be, so presumably the poster means to suggest that it's not possible to talk about which game is inherently the most lucrative without acknowledging differences in the skill of the different player bases, etc., etc,

Makes sense, it all comes down to your edge over your opponents. You can be a v. good player and play against pros and lose. Equally you can be a poor player, but play against really bad players and make a profit. The more of an edge you have over your opponents the more you win, doesn't matter what game it is.
