Post your story about having a gun pulled on you

I realize this format is pretty bad, but I think I'm too lazy right now to edit it. After hearing my friends story, it occurs to me that I've never had a gun pointed at me. I figure OOT has some good gun-related stories and I'd like to hear them.

(15:29:45) friend: ummm well....went out with ang and tim, nick, wayne and cassie, andy, and nicks friend Joe
(15:29:51) friend: i didnt drink
(15:29:59) friend: nicks friend joe is kinda hard to explain
(15:30:03) friend: massive human being
(15:30:15) friend: lost his hand in an underwater welding accident
(15:30:29) samster: like last night lost his hand?
(15:30:37) friend: no
(15:30:41) samster: oh
(15:30:43) friend: years ago
(15:30:47) samster: i have a feeling that would have been a better story
(15:31:02) friend: but he has a prosthetic arm that looks like a big black fist with spikes screwed into it

(15:31:25) friend: he uses it for bench pressing ... which i was told he puts up close to 400

(15:31:39) friend: he is from brooklyn, has cuts all over his face from being in knife fights
(15:32:06) samster: so, a guy you want to be friends with, basically
(15:32:16) friend: when you meet this guy you realize you do not want to fight him
(15:32:24) friend: no matter what
(15:32:38) samster: yeah
(15:32:48) friend: so we were at grizzleys having a good time
(15:33:00) friend: he is a funny guy, pretty loud like you would expect a new yorker
(15:33:29) friend: ang decides she wants to go see her family who are out at a bar called sporty's out by island lake
(15:33:32) friend: so we go out there
(15:33:42) friend: there are just a bunch of scrawny hicks in there
(15:34:00) friend: but this one hick in particular starts talking [censored] to Joe immediately
(15:34:08) friend: we are like, man this kid has a death wish
(15:34:18) friend: and joe for the most part lets it go
(15:34:51) friend: finally about an hour and a half after we get there this kid goes up to him and starts talking more [censored] to joe

(15:35:27) friend: he kind shoulder bumped joe and said [censored] off man
(15:35:30) friend: stuff like that
(15:35:40) friend: i dont think he was smart enough to come up with anything good
(15:35:59) friend: so joe goes, ok bud you have been in my face all night how about we go outside and dance
(15:36:39) friend: if this kid had any sense he would have turned and walked away, i dont think anyone would have said otherwise (this kid was like 6' 160lbs)
(15:37:01) friend: but this kid is like ... yeah ill dance with you
(15:37:17) friend: me tim and andy look at each other and were like [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

(15:37:40) friend: nick gets up and basically pushes joe away and was like no dancing
(15:37:45) friend: things settle down
(15:38:04) friend: so joe and jerry (ang's uncle) were dicking around and were yelling and pretending to fight
(15:38:21) friend: and this kid runs back up to jerry and was like yeah jerry how about we take this guy out back and kick his ass
(15:38:31) friend: and jerry is like get the [censored] away from me you little [censored]
(15:38:41) friend: and this kid finally leaves and goes to his side of the bar
(15:39:19) friend: finally the bar is kinda shutting down and joe asks the bartender for another drink and she says she's sorry but she can't serve anymore so joe asks for his tab
(15:39:49) friend: as she is walking away joe says "nice calves" to the bartender...the guy had a strange fetish for female calves
(15:39:58) friend: and this kid loses it
(15:40:11) samster: the kid who was trying to fight this joe guy?
(15:40:17) friend: "that is my [censored] girl you piece of [censored], i am gonna kill you, etc...."
(15:40:18) friend: yeah
(15:40:50) friend: and joe loses it, kicks his chair and starts trying to go after this kid
(15:41:29) friend: finally we get joe outside and about to get him in nicks car when we see the friend of the kid who was picking a fight coming back from his truck
(15:41:39) friend: the kid has his shotgun in his hand
(15:41:43) samster: omg
(15:41:49) friend: we are like ohh [censored]
(15:42:14) friend: joe is swearing at the kid with a gun "man we just got into a [censored] argument and you have to be a pussy and bring a gun"
(15:42:46) friend: the kid was saying he was going to kill us all, nick was like dude you might kill a few of us but you would not get us all before we got to you
(15:43:00) friend: we are like hey we are leaving your friend is fine
(15:43:10) friend: ang is crying
(15:43:19) friend: she is like i dont want my brother to die
(15:43:22) friend: yada yada yada
(15:43:39) friend: tim is like dude we are leaving look at what you are doing to my wife man
(15:44:09) friend: the kid starts to realize that he is pretty stupid
(15:44:20) friend: i start to talk to him and i was like ... dude you are way over the line
(15:44:27) friend: we are getting out of here
(15:44:33) friend: your buddy picked the fight
(15:44:39) friend: wtf do you need the gun for
(15:44:49) friend: and he is like your buddy has a gauntlet for a hand
(15:45:07) friend: my friend would get killed in a fight with him and i don't want that to happen
(15:45:30) friend: i am like dude we are leaving we are cool things aren't going to happen so go put your gun away
(15:45:38) friend: and he is like aight man i am sorry i was over the line
(15:45:40) friend: and we left
(15:47:02) samster: wow
(15:47:04) samster: wow
(15:48:06) friend: yeah
(15:48:09) friend: pretty [censored] up
(15:48:16) samster: that's crazy
(15:48:36) friend: yeah i DID NOT want to die in a hick bar over some guy i will probably never see again

ive had a gun pulled on me a few times, once while we were dicking around in a bar after hours, just the owner, me and a few friends, one of the guys wanted to bet the other in a game of golden tee, kids like 500$, one guy is like, ok, pulls out piece and says your 5 for this, and sticks it on the golden Tee machine, it slides down, I see it going, and I stick my foot out to cushion the blow, I miss it and it hits teh ground, fires a round into the wall, i was drunk enough, that I thought it was funny.

Many years ago, High School Jr year:

I am out on a Friday night with my buddies and we see a house some friends of our have toilet papered. We have an old fire extinguisher that we can fill with water and charge with air. It works just like a big squirt gun. Anyway we get the bright idea to soak down the TP job, park the car a few houses down and go to it . We get done and are getting back in this guys car and the front door of the house we are parked in front of flies open and this Italian dude comes charging out of the house straight at us waving a pistol and screaming at us about "F'in" with his car! We are trying to tell him we were not messing with his car as he is screaming and waving the gun back and forth between the back seat (Where I am sitting) and the front seat. End of the barrel looks HUGE!! This is bad enough but them his wife comes out of the house screaming at him to put the gun away and not shoot anyone. He finally stops screaming and we get the hell out of there.

Having a gun pointed at you is not a fun thing!

Find out a few weeks later that this guy is arrested for assault with a deadly weapon!

I have seen the Police carrying guns at Heathrow airport, it is the only time I have seen or been near any real live gun.

I've had it happen a couple of times, but none of them are really that great of a story. The worst one was having several police draw their weapons at myself and a few friends while having a snowball fight in high school.
