Full Tilt stole 25k from me

Yesterday I tried to log in int my account, and was denied.
After waiting 24hr for email response this is what i get.

I have no idea what they are taking about.The only thing I can think off is that sometimes people give me cash to transfer them money online.and maybe on of those people did something.
Look at the part in bold , where they say it may not be your fault.
I think this is outrages all these sites can do whatever they want, and we cant do anything about it.
Please help, let me know if there is anything I can do.

This worries me. The wording in the email doesn't suggest that they are investigating the account, but that they are simply closing it because of some link to a fraudulent account. If they simply don't have the resources to investigate all these accoutns they want to close, they really need to fix that.

Are you stupid,each account has to be looked at individually.What if someone you know, decided to screw them over, and they will lock your account, with your money in there.
You have no controll of what other people do, and I hope one day this will happend to you, and you will know what it feels like.

keep us posted. I was going to start playing at FT along with my play at stars, but I'm hearing lots of bad things. This post definitely puts me at "never play there" mode.

I feel for you in this situation, but really, no one can do anything here short of flying to Ireland and breaking some knee caps. This is the industry we deal with, it is for the most part unlicensed and unregulated. And if you are in the US it is now even worse. If they have truly decided to lock your account and confiscate your money then that is what you are stuck with, as mad as that makes you.

I'm not implying that it is your fault, and I know a lot of people do it, but....

This makes me want to never, ever transfer money to/from anyone. I'll do it on Neteller and pay the fees, but I'm going to be very, very careful not to give the poker sites *ANY* reason to suspect my activities.

No money transfers, in or out.
Keep my chat to a minimum, and socially acceptable.
Never try to play with any particular player, well maybe a big fish. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
I'd prefer to not be associated with anyone.

I played a friends account on Party one day to keep him in the "play every day this month and get a bonus" promotion (or whatever it was called) and of course I was no longer able to sit with him in a SnG. Which turned out the be a real pain in the butt. We both multitabled the same levels so when we were both playing it became a race to see who could be seated first. A distraction I didn't need while playing 5 other tables.

I can't really blame the sites either (unless they take your money.) It takes a lot of time, manpower and money to do an investigation, and even when it is complete what do you have? A bunch of facts that may, or may not, mean anything. They are forced into a bad situation.

OK, so you can't play on Full Tilt anymore. It shouldn't be that big of a deal. I'd still talk to them to see if I could get something worked out, but I wouldn't be to worried. There are still, at least, a few good sites that want your business!
