Making a Deal!
I am not sure why this happens in my town but there are rarely deals made, besides of the equal share variety.
Anyhow, I found myself at a FT MTT at my local casino the other night. We got down to 3-handed w/ the blinds 5K-10K. At that point someone offered a 3 way chop, chopped evenly. Here are the chip scenearios: Hero 180,000 Player 2 90,000 Player 3 70,000 What kind of deal would you accept here? Keep in mind that I was pretty tired and not playing my best at this point, so I was willing to accept less than a standard percentage chop. |

Re: Making a Deal!
Not a chance (chopped evenly) You have more than 50% of the chips vs 2 others. If the total prize pool left was $100, and you are really looking to exit, perhaps something like this:
hero 45 player 2 30 player 3 25 |

Re: Making a Deal!
180,000 / 340,000 = .529
You should accept a chop if you get 52.9% of the remaining prize pool. |
