Default $25 6max: Good or bad play on each street?

I'm putting the button on AAxx throughout the hand. I thought the PF call might have been a bit loose, turns out it was 60/40. I think I'm taking the pot down on the flop or the turn a large enough % of the time to make this play work. I'm obv crushed after he smooth calls the turn.

Am I throwing away $ here?

I am a PLO noob having at most put at most 500 hands at the 25-100 plo tables, but this to me just looks like an elaborate bluff attemp without many outs to pull you through.

I'd most likely let this go pf, flop and turn ...

That might be a good flop bet in an unraised pot, and although someone with AA where his sidecards didn't give him a draw there should think 2 connecting straight cards isn't a good flop, lots of players will stubbornly just call you down anyway. I would just c/f, and if I bet anything on each street would make a couple 1/4 pot bets maybe. That can get you to the river against a timid but stubborn player who will be scared to raise in case you are doing that with a set.

Why would you raise preflop with that hand? All you have is JJ and QdJd worth anything, I;d just call in the SB and see a flop hoping to hit a J or a nice draw. Remember you'll be OOP for the whole hand. As Bluff said you can fire at that pot and take it down on the flop in an unraised pot

Also you need to c/f the flop

At PLO25 you're "taking the pot down" on this flop approximately never vs AA. Unless your image is LAG (i.e. pretty wide range pre-flop), he'll always put you on a big pair (which he has pretty well beaten) rather than a bone-crusher like 99/88.

By continuing to bet, I suspect so...

Nice river. Even better if he backed into a spade flush...
