Default Top 2 mono board

I'm sure I messed this one up, so we'll just take it street by street.

No real reads on anyone, I'm probably the laggiest at the table. No one seems to be getting out of line too much.

Stacks are:
BB 695
Hero 853
CO 683
SB 176

Ultimate Bet
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $3./$6.
6 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero raises to $21, UTG+1 folds, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($84, 4 players)
SB checks, BB bets $84, Hero?

I think that raise/call a push and call/get it in on a safe turn are both fine lines.

I'd usually go with the former.

Min raise is awful on the flop. Make it like $300 straight, minimum.

This will keep other unknown villains in line, as well, and may let you get away from this hand, if you're behind. I would still stack off to BB, though, with no reads.

Bet the house on the flop. Hand should end here, unless villian feels a little froggy.

Turn looks fine, but you really don't know where you're at, because you didn't define their hands well, with your min-raise.

I do not love my hand at all, though, at this point. I would probably c/f the river, on a lot of cards. Especially other face cards.

Reads would help a lot here.

River is J, BB pushes with Q9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I'm a limit donk that just started messing around with NL. I didn't like the min raise either, but my reasoning was at the time of allowing me to get away from the hand if BB pushed. Will you see any other hands that bet/3 bet this flop that I am ahead of regularly?

Only me who would try to get it checked around on turn? I don't like my hand at all, hate playing big pots with these type of hands (maybe i'm playing them too weak). And really, how is he supposed to get away from this hand on a non-hearted river with 500 invested?

ugggg minraising such that you can fold to a push on monotone boards is horrible. in fact, with top 2, you are trying to induce the shove with your raise, the exact opposite of your intention!
