5/5 continouing when raised on turn when holding A high
10/10 at the MCOP, Amsterdam. I bought in for 500 because I was waiting to get into the 5/5 game. But effective stacks are now 700.
Villain is a very laggish player that loves to float and tries to put everybody at the table to the test. 10/10 10 handed Hero get's AQo (no hearts) in MP UTG limps Hero;MP+1 makes it 40 Villain calls on the button BB calls UTG calls flop 9h9s3d BB and UTG check I check also knowing that villain will float if I make a bet here Villain also checks (very strange, he would bet his 9 and utter crap in this position) turn Th BB and UTG both check (when these guys check they will fold to any bet, both me and villain probably know this) Hero bets 60 into a 170 pot, very weak but I knew this bet will most likely take it down. Villain instantly makes it 160. BB and UTG fold I go into the tank for a little while thinking what he could finally concluding that he must have hit decent draw like QJh KJh KQh. So i call hoping for a decent river no JQK or h and let him bluff of his stack. Does anyone rather see a push here? river: Kx I check, Villain bets 200, I fold(mumbling how I hated that king). Villain probably knew I was calling with crap on the turn after I folded and showed his Kh. |

I know I'm a new poster but is this hand really that clear cut?

If you really think he has crap, then push the turn.
