Pierce on for a triple double
18 mins to go
17pts, 9rebs, 8TO. Is a TD including turnovers very rare? Lori |

look up jason kidd. not rare at all. [/ QUOTE ] I've gone through his last three seasons, and can't find a game with more than 8 TOs. I'm aware he gets a lot of regular Triple Doubles, I meant specifically ones with turnovers included. (It may have a different name) Lori |

Re: Pierce on for a triple double
Well I found that my definition was wrong:
[ QUOTE ] A triple-double is a basketball term, defined as an individual performance in a game in which a player accumulates double-digit totals (i.e., 10 or more) in any three of these categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots. [/ QUOTE ] but I can't find if this "achievement" would be rare or not. Lori |

Re: Pierce on for a triple double
Lost in this discussion is the fact that my guy Gomes has a real triple-double.
Why hasn't Rondo played? Did we blow the lead by standing around, running the shot clock down, and then firing jump shots (standard Doc Rivers protect a lead offense)? -McGee |
