Season 3, Episode 6 "I Do"

This is the last episode before a long break, so expect a lot of stuff packed into this one with one hell of a cliffhanger ending.

<font color="white">Jack makes a decision regarding Ben's offer, Kate feels helpless when it looks like an angry Pickett is going to make good on his threat to kill Sawyer, and Locke discovers a hidden message that may guide him through the next steps of his journey to unlocking the secrets of the island.</font>




Quick Recap **Spoilers if you are not caught up through tonights episode**

The Others

1.) Jack is being interrogated by the others, most notably Juliette, in an underwater Dharma station called “The Hydra”.

2.) Kate and Sawyer are being held in zoo-like cages and are being used as labor.

3.) Ben has told Jack that if he does what he asks “when the time comes” he can return him to civilization. This assumes that the others not only have contact with the outside world, but can return and choose not to.

4.) Jack has been asked by The Others to remove a spinal tumor from Ben. For unknown reasons, Juliette has asked that he "accidentally" kill Ben during the operation.

5.) Ben revealed to Sawyer that the island they are on now is seperate from the island that they crashed on (and the island the other surviviors are on).

The Survivors

1.) According to Desmond, the button was in place to periodically expel electromagnetic energy that builds up in the island. He also claimed that the plane crash was the result of him not pushing the button. When Locke refused to push it, Desmond was forced to go under the hatch to flip a switch that would destroy the hatch as it expelled the energy. Locke, Ecko and Desmond were in the hatch when he pulled the switch.

2.) After the hatch “imploded” Locke, Desmond and Ecko woke up elsewhere on the island. Locke is having visions of Boone, Desmond is having visions of the future, and Ecko was having visions of his brother.

3.) Sun, Jin and Sayiid lost Desmonds sailboat to the others, in the process Sun shot one of them, the woman jack was unable to save.

4.) Desmonds ex, the daughter of Charles Windmere, has located the island via the electromagnetic pulse.

5.) Following visions of his brother, Ecko went into the jungle where he was killed by the black smoke.

6.) From within the Pearl, Locke and the others have picked up a surveillance feed from another station housing a man with an eyepatch.

Does anyone agree with me that this season so far is as good as season 2 at this point? Or am I REALLY the only one in the world thinking that?
