6-max donkeys, how to spot?
Which PT stats qualify a player as a donkey in 6-max? Obviously some 50/25 players are very good, but I doubt many are.

Stats are 90% useless in identifying fish.

Stats are 90% useless in identifying fish. [/ QUOTE ] This comment is absolutely ridiculous. I promise you if you sort your PT to show players that have 70%+ VPIP after 150+ hands, 95%+ of them will be very bad. You will be hard pressed to find too many good players with 7 aggression factor, or 30% PFR, or 40% WTSD after a decent amount of hands, and it can be a safe bet to buddylist these guys and hunt them down. Sure, you cannot put too much weight on stats as far as how players will play certain situations, especially with small sample sizes, and you have to either study their past hands or figure their patterns out on your own, but as far as spotting bad players stats can do a hell of a job, especially at small stakes. A good LAG at small stakes is an oxymoron. |

I guess there's a reason these games are so good. |

his statement is rather obvious: watching numbers on pt is not the way to spot horrible post-flop players.

his statement is rather obvious: watching numbers on pt is not the way to spot horrible post-flop players. [/ QUOTE ] I can sort PT by a certain stat and I could wager a large sum of money on each individual player that pops up that he or she is in fact a donkey. I sort them out, put them on buddy list, and THEN observe their play to confirm how bad they infact are. Some may not spew as bad as others, sure. The 70% VPIP money bags are generally not the greatest of postflop players. Neither are the hyper aggro donkeys with ridiculous aggression factors that bet bet bet and are easy to trap. And the guys with 30% PFR's are very easily exploitable as well. |

Stats are very useful for identifying fish, especially if you plan on multitabling.
